Venuu is completely free to use: you can make as many free searches, browse venue and event service profiles and send them as many free messages, asking for more info or a price estimate as your heart desires.


When you book a venue or event service via Venuu, you always get the best price that's exactly the same as it would be booking straight from the service provider. So convenient.

How can I contact a venue or event service I found on Venuu?

Every venue and event service profile on Venuu has a contact from with which you can send that service provider a direct message, no middleman, no hassle. Remember to include at least your name and email address onto the required fields and add your event date and the key details of your planned event onto the message field.


The more you can say about the event your planning, the better the venue or event service can estimate if they would be a good fit for your event and how much the cost of the venue or event service would be in your case.


The message will be sent directly to the venue or event service in question, so you don't need to worry about delays. They will get back to you via email as soon as possible.

I want to book a venue/event service. How does that work?

Easy peasy: send the venue or event service a message via the contact form on their Venuu-profile. On some event services' profiles you can contact them directly by clicking the "Show contact info" -button and checking out their direct contact information.


Your message requesting a booking will be sent directly to the venue/event service and they will email you back as soon as possible and get the reservation process started.


Keep in mind that Venuu doesn't own any of the venues or event services featured on our site, so all reservations must be made directly with the venue/event service by contacting them via the contact form. Unfortunately Venuu can't make reservations for its' users.

I sent a message to a venue/event service. What happens next?

Your message goes straight from the contact form to the venue/event service in question. They'll get back to you ASAP, usually within two business days.


If you don't get a reply within a day or two, don't worry! Venuu sends automatic reminders to venues and event services, notifying them that your message still hasn't been replied to.


The venue or event service will reply to you via email and you can ask any questions you may have, ask for a price estimate and make a reservation if the fit feels right.

A venue or event service won't reply to my message. What do I do?

In most cases venues and event services reply to messages within two workdays. Venuu automatically sends them reminders if they have any unanswered messages. If you haven't received a reply in four workdays, you can send the venue or event service a new message and also report the issue to Venuu, so we can figure out what's up.


If seven workdays have passed and you still haven't heard back from a venue or event service, contact our customer service and we will help you get in contact with the service provider.

How do I pay for my booking?

Payments for bookings are always done between the venue/event service and the person doing the booking. Each venue/event service has its own systems and conventions to handling payments, so always follow the payment instructions the venue or event service has provided you with.


Payments never go through Venuu, and you never need to pay a booking fee to us since using Venuu is always completely free.

How do I cancel my booking?

Bookings made via Venuu are always contracts between the person doing the booking and the venue/event service, so unfortunately Venuu as an outside party can't make changes or cancel bookings.


You can easily cancel your booking by contacting the venue or event service you have booked, e.g. by sending another email to the email conversation you've previously had about the booking with the venue or event service. You don't need to cancel your booking to Venuu.

What are the terms of cancellation on my booking?

Bookings are always contracts made between the person doing the booking and the venue or event service. As a result, the concrete terms of canceling your booking depend on the rules of the specific venue or event service you have made your booking with.


If you want to know more about a venue's or event service's cancellation policy, contact them directly by sending them a message via the contact form on their Venuu-profile. The venue or event service will get back to you via email as soon as possible.

I'm having problems with a venue/event service I found on Venuu. Can you help?

Bookings are contracts between the person making the booking and the venue/event service, so the terms of the booking or canceling it depend on the venue or event service the booking has been made with. Unfortunately Venuu can't influence the booking terms of venues or event services. Similarly, all payments are made between the person making the booking and the venue/event service, the money never exchanges hands via Venuu so all reimbursements must be handled with the venue/event service that was booked.


In some cases Venuu can help settle the more tricky disagreements between the person doing the booking and venue/event service if previous discussions between the two parties have not resolved the issue. If you feel like you're stumped with a problem related to your booking and resolving the issue with a venue or event service just isn't working, you can contact our customer service and we'll do our best to help.
